What is the Express Entry Scheme for Canada Immigration ?

Express Entry is an online, free and secured platform where qualified candidates share their qualifications with IRCC for the purpose to become a permanent resident of Canada. IRCC uses that information to position candidates in a Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) and in a timely manner invites top-ranking candidates to complete their full application for permanent residence. There are three programs in this system:

Federal Skilled Worker Program
Federal Skilled Trades Program
Canadian Experience Class

There are 2 steps involved in the Express Entry System

Step:

Creation of Express Entry Profile by sharing information with IRCC regarding skills, education, language ability, work experience, and other details
The applicant has 60 days to complete this profile from the day of initiation.
Applicant Receive the CRS (Comprehensive Ranking Score) based on skills possess

Step:

IRCC invites candidates with a high Comprehensive Ranking Score to complete a full application for permanent residence.
The applicant has 60 days to complete the application competently within 60 days from the invitation received.
Once the full application is completed, and Acknowledgement of Receipt (AOR) received from IRCC, the Applicant may wait for further instruction and/or final decision from IRCC. AOR may inbox in 24 hours or longer from the submission completed.

Note:

Express Entry profile is valid for 12 months, and it shall be kept updated with all information at all times. If you do not receive an invitation to apply for PR from IRCC within 12 months, then you shall create a new profile upon expiry.
Any Interested, Province, and Territory may recruit candidates for permanent residence through Provincial Nominee Program (PNP) , conditions apply.

Key Changes:

Job match account with job bank is an Optional
Extra possible points for strong French language skills
Get extra points for at least 1 sibling (brother or sister) who is either PR or citizen of Canada and living here

Other Factors:

You shall have adequate funds available to you if you are coming from a foreign national when you wish to apply for PR under Express Entry System, except in the event of where you have a written job offer.
Applicant must plan to live outside the Province of Quebec, conditions apply.
You must be admissible to Canada.
Applicant must meet other applicable requirements
